?How does every city wakes up? Or what is the morning greeting in different cities

..This is a question that I have almost every day when I open the curtains

..I see the movement of cars in the opposite street

..The school buses noise

..and the annoying sound of the turkey gobble

,I believe that morning is different in every city

,Every cities has its own traffic and noise

,Cafes and sidewalks

,the streets that wakes up slowly after a loud nigh

..and the lovely morning quietness that overwhelms it in the early hours of the day

My city, Dubai is a vibrant city, and as my friend loves to describe Dubai by saying “the roads of Dubai at late hours of the night makes you question your clock” . its s busy city day and night, which is not a new thing for Dubai, it always been like that since the creek was cutting it way through the city and made it a lively center for trade and life. Moreover, Dubai is still a city in race with time to be an international hub and an attractive city.

Those questions lead me to search about mornings in different cities around the world and morning routines of people around the globe.

According to an article in the Times, the city that is well-rested is Milbourn in Australia, were people get in average 6 hours and 58 minutes of sleep. While the sleep deprived city is ironically not New York but Tokyo in Japan, where people get an average of  5 hours and 44 minutes of sleep.

When it comes to morning routines, Ikea conducted a study in 8 major cities around the world and the results was that 61% of people in Stockholm, Sweden are early birds who wake up before 7 am. While in Mumbai India, 70% of people have solo- breakfast.

The most interesting part to me was the one related to drinking tea or coffee in the morning, Mosco scored the highest percentage where 75% of the population start their day with tea or coffee. Additionally, people of Shanghai seems to disagree with tea and coffee, only 16% starts their day with drinking tea or coffee.

Those are some quick facts and numbers about mornings of different cities, I look forward to hearing back from you
